Sonic Studios is an independently owned and operated studio located in the heart of downtown, Prince George BC. Andrew and Joelle Johnson, a husband and wife team, own and manage the penthouse studio which specializes in visual podcasts, documentaries, digital storytelling, online course creation, drone services, and audio book recording. We serve our clients on location or in studio.

We are honored to enjoy our life on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation. We enjoy a close working relationship with LTFN and are committed to participating in truth and reconciliation, as we believe it's an ongoing act. We have experience working with many different First Nations within BC and enjoy being exposed to the rich cultural variances.

Sonic Studios (formerly known as "Sonic Interactive Solutions") started off as a web design firm in 2007, founded by Andrew. He hired Joelle in 2011 as his client base expanded and the two began offering photography and video to complement their top tier web design. In 2020, when the world shifted to heavier online forms of communicating, Sonic Interactive Solutions evolved into Sonic Studios to better reflect the services we were providing.

Sonic Studios is a fully equipped studio with HD (4K and 8K) recording capacity, teleprompters, professional lighting and audio equipment. We can record on location or in studio depending on the specific needs of our clients.
